County Commission At-Large: Candidates run at-large to represent the entirety of Converse County.
Clerk of District Court: This position oversees civil and criminal court filings, passport applications, and jury management in the Eighth Judicial District.
Primary Election Date: Mark your calendars for the primary election on Tuesday, August 18, 2026.
Where to Register: Visit the Converse County Clerk’s Office in Douglas.
Absentee Ballots: Can be requested directly through the County Clerk’s office if you will be out of town or unable to reach the polls on election day.
Voter Registration & ID: State regulations require voters to show valid photo ID and proof of citizenship/residency when registering or voting in person. Make sure you have the right documentation ready by checking the official Converse County Voter ID Flowchar
